So I’m pretty happy right now. How’s by you?
Went to my favourite garden (Powis) in January for the first time – it never used to be open in the winter. Took some photographs, and was amazed to discover a water feature I’d never noticed in 25 years of regular visits. It’s fenced off and hidden, but still. I love the fact that I’m still discovering new things there.
Husband and I are spending the weekend with Son and Grandboy–lots of laughter, fun, and wine. 😉
I grow artemesia Powis Castle, and that’s the closest I’ve come to the site in several trips to British Isles. Someday! Each time you write about Powis, I take special notice. Of course you realize how fortunate you are.
I made peace with a difficult decision. Now maybe I can sleep again and happiness will abound.
I’ve worked through the Hellish Head Cold!
Received a kind note from an editor about my article as he put the issue to bed. Sweet. Didn’t know editors did this out of the blue. Another kind comment from another editor about a separate article for another magazine, but that was by way of acknowledging receipt of submission. Still.
Doggie neck problem – with horrors envisioned – abated with new walking collar. Shredder’s Maltese hair was getting pinchy in the old one; thus, the yelps. We’re so relieved. So is Shredder.
Good onya. Been there. “Peace” about sums up.
Visited a fiber arts exhibit with a friend. Inspiring!
Progressed on a painting that keeps changing – the lake turned out to be a waterfall, the chalet a cliff, the dark sky a moonlit night.
Lovely long walk Saturday, followed by a lovely long nap.
Absolutely. And I’d love to show it to you, Thea.
